In April 2012, we introduced the first mobile budget planner offered by an Australian Bank as part of the St.George Banking Group’s latest iPhone App (70% of our mobile users use iPhones). The Budget Planner is a customizable budgeting tool that can be used by new and existing customers, helping them manage their finances anywhere, anytime. Users can start their budget with pre-populated information based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics house hold expenditure data, and edit figures to suit their needs, or start with a blank budget. Users can also set goals and track these over time.
